This is the third in a recently discovered series of portraits of my maternal grandfather, Everett S. Carpenter, and his older sister, Ruth. This photograph must have been taken about 1896 -- a year or two after last week's Friday Fotos portrait of Ruth and Everett. Everett looks to be about five years old in this photograph.

I'm impressed with you committed your great-grandparents were in having photographs taken of your grandfather and his sister. They look adorable and were dressed and groomed so beautifully. Little Lord Fauntleroy came to mind when I looked at the last photo. I hope there are more in this series and that we will get to see them as they grow and become adults.
